What Is a Tradovate Order ID?
An Order ID is the unique number Tradovate stamps on every order the second you submit it. Export a Trade Report in Tradovate: Step-by-Step
Open Account Reports
In the Tradovate web or desktop trader, click your account name in the top-right corner to open the account dropdown. Then click the gear/settings icon and choose Account Reports.
Open the Orders Tab
Inside the Account Reports panel, click the Orders tab. This one lists every order tied to the account, unlike Fills, Positions, or Cash History, which each slice your activity a different way.
Set Your Date Range and Filters
Pick a date range with the quick presets, Today, Yesterday, This Week, This Month, or type custom From/To dates if you need a specific window. Want to narrow things down further? Use the Add Filter dropdown to filter by Contract, Product, Account, or Order Status. When it looks right, click Go to generate the report.
Export as CSV or PDF
With the report on screen, pick your format. Download CSV gives you a spreadsheet you can sort, slice, and import into a journal. Download PDF gives you a clean, print-ready record. Either way, Tradovate builds the file and drops it into your downloads.
Find the Order ID Column
Open the exported file. Every row is a single order, and the Order ID column (sometimes labeled order number) sits right alongside Action, Qty, Contract, Type, Status, Fill Time, Fill Price, and Account. Match the Order ID to the trade you're chasing down and you've got its price, its timestamp, and its execution status in one line.
