Sent an ACH deposit and it still hasn't shown up? Requested a payout and want to know if it's actually moving? Tradovate keeps a full record of every transfer you make, and checking where yours stands takes about a minute. Here's how to read your deposit and withdrawal status in Transfer History, and what each status actually means.

Where Tradovate Tracks Your Transfers

Every deposit you make, ACH, debit card, or check, and every withdrawal you request by ACH or wire gets logged in one place: the Transfer History page inside your account settings. It shows the amount, the method, the date, and the part you actually care about: the current status of each transfer. This lives in the web app, so if you normally trade on mobile or a connected platform, log in through a browser to see it. One thing to keep straight, prop-firm evaluation and funded accounts don't deposit or pay out here. Those transfers run through your firm, not Tradovate's transfer page.

How to Check Your Transfer Status: Step-by-Step

1

Open Application Settings > Transfers & Payments

Log in to the Tradovate web app and click Application Settings in the top-right corner. Open the Transfers & Payments tab, some builds label the header simply Transfers. It's the same screen you use to move money in and out, so both deposits and withdrawals show up from here.

2

Open Transfer History

On the Transfers & Payments page, look for the Transfer Money section and click Transfer History. Tradovate pulls up a running list of every deposit and withdrawal tied to your account, with the most recent at the top. If you hold more than one account, make sure you're looking at the right one.

3

Read the Status of Each Transfer

Each row shows the transfer type, the amount, the date, and its status. A pending status means the request is in but the money hasn't fully cleared yet, perfectly normal for a deposit that's still settling or a withdrawal waiting on the next processing run. A completed (you may see it worded as processed) status means it's done: the funds have landed in your account or left it. If a transfer failed or was returned, it gets flagged here too, and that's your cue to reach out to support.

4

Match the Status to the Expected Timing

A pending status usually just means the clock is still running. Deposits are generally processed within one to two business days, and ACH deposits requested before the daily cutoff, around 1:30 PM Central, are processed the same business day. Withdrawals submitted before 12:00 PM Central on a business day process that same day; later ones roll to the next. If an ACH deposit shows as locked, don't panic, that's a routine hold. Tradovate can't instantly verify the funds, so it sits for about three business days (released by 5:00 PM Central on the unlock day) before it clears for trading. Exact cutoffs shift over time, so confirm the current times in Tradovate's help center.

Why You'd Check This

  • Confirm a deposit before you size up a trade that depends on it.
  • Know a payout is moving instead of quietly stuck.
  • Catch a failed or returned transfer early, before it throws off your plan.
  • Keep a clean paper trail of every deposit and withdrawal for your journal and taxes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Deposits typically clear in one to two business days, and ACH deposits beat the same-day cutoff if you request them before roughly 1:30 PM Central. Withdrawals process the same business day when you submit them before noon Central; otherwise they move to the next day. A locked ACH deposit is the exception, plan on about three business days there.

A lock happens when Tradovate's bank-verification partner can't confirm your balance at the moment of deposit. Because an ACH transfer can be clawed back for insufficient funds, the deposit is held for about three business days before it's usable. Nothing's wrong on your end, and the hold can't be sped up.

Transfer History lives in the web app, so log in through a browser to view your full deposit and withdrawal record. And remember: prop-firm evaluation and funded accounts track payouts through the firm's own process, not this page. Firm payout rules and timing vary by firm and account size, so check your firm's current terms.
