PineConnector routes TradingView alerts into MetaTrader accounts. PickMyTrade does not connect to MetaTrader at all. It connects to eight brokers: Tradovate, Rithmic, ProjectX including TopstepX, Interactive Brokers, TradeStation, Tradier, TradeLocker and Match-Trader. If your prop firm hands you a MetaTrader login, PineConnector can help and we cannot. If your account is on any of our eight, PineConnector cannot reach it. For most readers that settles it before price enters the argument.
Price
PineConnector rebuilt its offer in September 2026, and our own comparison pages had not caught up. They described a one-time licence and a VPS you had to rent. Both are gone. Checked 22 September 2026, PineConnector sells three monthly plans, includes hosted MetaTrader 5 in all of them so your computer can be off, and no longer offers a trial of any kind. Its plans are metered on the number of MetaTrader accounts you automate at once; ours is metered on the broker login.

Read the five-account row honestly, because it can go either way. One PickMyTrade subscription covers unlimited accounts under one broker login: five Apex accounts under a single Tradovate login all automate on one $50 subscription, which is $149 a month below PineConnector's Pro plan. But if your five accounts sit under five separate broker logins, each login needs its own subscription, and $250 is more than Pro costs. Count your logins, not your accounts, before you compare totals.

Daily and weekly profit and loss limits, trading-time windows and a Tradovate news filter are dashboard settings, so you can change them between sessions. They are settings, not promises: set them to match your firm's rules. Risk settings.
Stop loss and take profit by points, percentage, price, ticks or total profit and loss. Brackets and OCO, trailing stops on Tradovate and ProjectX, breakeven with an offset, stop and target changes on an open position, partial closes and reversals, all driven from the alert. Alert setup.
Connect your broker, fire your own alert and watch the order land. If it is not right, you have paid nothing. PineConnector asks for the first month up front and does not refund partial periods.
Honest take
This is the whole decision for most people. PickMyTrade has no MetaTrader connection, so if your broker or your prop firm only hands out MetaTrader logins, PineConnector is the tool and we are not.
PineConnector includes hosted MetaTrader 5 on every plan, which suits Mac users and anyone who does not want to run a machine. Worth knowing before you buy: it is in early access, New York region only, and its hosted settings are fixed for now.
It shows net profit, drawdown, profit factor and win rate. PickMyTrade has no built-in journal, and our users pair it with a separate journaling tool.
Its MetaTrader brokers cover crypto and a wider CFD range than TradeLocker and Match-Trader. PickMyTrade has no crypto at all.
Switching
Check that your account is reachable first. If it is a MetaTrader account, nothing below will work. If it is on Tradovate, Rithmic, ProjectX, Interactive Brokers, TradeStation, Tradier, TradeLocker or Match-Trader, carry on.
Start the free trial and connect the broker. Sign in to Tradovate with OAuth, or follow the guide for whichever broker you trade. There is no Tradovate API subscription to buy.
Rebuild the alert message. Generate it in the dashboard and paste it into your TradingView alert with the PickMyTrade webhook URL. PineConnector's alert syntax does not carry across as it is, and its expert-advisor inputs have no equivalent to copy over; set stops, targets and sizing in PickMyTrade instead.
Test on a demo account, then switch one account at a time. Check the order at your broker before you go live, and turn PineConnector off for that account first, so only one tool is placing orders.
