Prop firms that use ProjectX and TopstepX
Topstep moved off the shared Tradovate DLL in August 2024 and now runs primarily on TopstepX, its own platform built on ProjectX technology. In early 2026 ProjectX became Topstep-exclusive, so firms that used to run on it rebuilt on Tradovate or Rithmic. In practice that means Topstep is the main firm you connect through ProjectX / TopstepX today, while almost every other firm is on Tradovate.
