Futures Trading Bot: Automate Your Own TradingView Strategy
PickMyTrade is a futures trading bot that runs the strategy you already trust. Your TradingView alerts, indicators, or Pine Script strategy fire the signal, and PickMyTrade places the order on your connected futures broker, no VPS, no coding, no broker API key to manage yourself.
No credit card required. Setup takes under 15 minutes. You bring your own strategy.
What is a futures trading bot?
A futures trading bot is software that follows a set of rules and places trades on futures contracts automatically, so you do not have to click every entry and exit by hand. The rules can be as simple as a moving-average crossover or as detailed as a full multi-condition strategy. When the conditions are met, the bot acts.
PickMyTrade is not a black-box profit bot and not a signal-selling service. It is an execution engine. You bring the strategy, whether that is a TradingView Pine Script strategy, an indicator, a manual chart alert, or a webhook from another tool, and PickMyTrade turns each signal into a real order on your connected broker. There is no promised win rate, no guaranteed return, and no bundled trading algorithm. You stay in control of the logic; the bot handles fast, repeatable execution.
This matters because futures move quickly. A trading bot for futures can react to a signal on the E-mini S&P 500 or Nasdaq the moment it prints, attach your stop-loss and take-profit, and manage the position while you are away from the desk.
How PickMyTrade turns your strategy into a futures bot
Three steps: build the signal in TradingView, send it by webhook to PickMyTrade, and PickMyTrade executes at your broker.
1. Alert in TradingView
Use your own Pine Script strategy, an indicator, or a manual chart alert. When your rule triggers, TradingView fires an alert. You keep full ownership of the logic.
2. Webhook to PickMyTrade
The alert sends a small webhook message to PickMyTrade with the symbol, side, size, and risk settings. PickMyTrade generates the alert message and webhook URL for you, so there is nothing to code.
3. Execute at your broker
PickMyTrade places the order on your connected futures broker, attaches your stop-loss and take-profit, and manages the position, server-side in the cloud, 24/7, with no VPS to run.
Webhook alerts require a paid TradingView plan (Pro, Pro+, or Premium). See the full TradingView automation guide for the strategy-vs-indicator setup, every risk method, and troubleshooting.
Supported futures brokers and platforms
A futures trading bot is only as good as the brokers it can reach. Tradovate connects directly on this site. Rithmic, Interactive Brokers, TradeStation, TradeLocker, ProjectX / TopstepX, Match-Trader, and Tradier are set up through our partner platform, pickmytrade.io.
Together they cover the contracts most futures traders follow: ES and MES (E-mini and Micro E-mini S&P 500), NQ and MNQ (E-mini and Micro E-mini Nasdaq-100), CL (Crude Oil), and the rest of the CME and Nymex board.
Supported futures prop firms
PickMyTrade works with demo, live, and prop-firm accounts. On Tradovate, it currently supports these funded and evaluation programs:
Each firm sets its own rules on automation and consistency, and those rules change over time. Confirm your current firm's policy before going live; PickMyTrade does not offer a way around any firm's rules.
Risk tools built for futures execution
Every automated order can carry your own risk rules, set once in PickMyTrade.
Stop-loss & take-profit
Attach exits using points, percentage, price levels, ticks, or total profit/loss, five ways to define risk on the same alert.
Trailing stop
Lock in gains as price moves in your favor, with a configurable trail value, trigger, and update frequency.
Position sizing
Size by a fixed quantity per signal, or calculate size from a risk percentage of account equity.
Global risk limits & symbol mapping
Set daily loss limits with a stop button, and map TradingView tickers to the correct futures contract automatically, including rollovers.
These are the same risk tools covered in depth, with worked examples, in our TradingView automation guide.
Questions traders actually ask
Straight answers about what PickMyTrade does and does not do.
A futures trading bot is software that executes a rules-based trading strategy on futures contracts automatically, so you do not have to place each order by hand. With PickMyTrade, the rules come from your own TradingView strategy or indicator. When your alert fires, TradingView sends a webhook to PickMyTrade, and PickMyTrade places the matching order, including entry, stop-loss, and take-profit, on your connected broker. It runs in the cloud, so trades execute even when your computer is off.
You bring your own. PickMyTrade is an execution engine, not a black-box profit bot and not a signal-selling service. It runs the strategy you already have, whether that is a Pine Script strategy, a TradingView indicator, a manual chart alert, or a webhook from another tool. PickMyTrade never promises returns or a win rate, and it does not bundle a money-making algorithm. You stay in control of every rule.
Tradovate connects directly through PickMyTrade. Rithmic, Interactive Brokers, TradeStation, TradeLocker, ProjectX, Match-Trader, and Tradier are supported through our partner platform, pickmytrade.io. Together they cover contracts like ES, MES, NQ, MNQ, and CL.
Yes. PickMyTrade works with demo, live, and prop-firm accounts on Tradovate, including Apex Trader Funding, Blue Guardian Futures, FundedNext Futures, My Funded Futures, Take Profit Trader, Top One Futures, Tradeify, and TradeDay. Each firm sets its own rules on automation and consistency, and those rules change over time, so confirm your current firm's policy before going live. PickMyTrade does not offer a way around any firm's rules.
No. PickMyTrade runs server-side in the cloud, so there is no VPS to rent and nothing to keep running on your computer. Once your broker is connected and your alert is live, the bot executes trades around the clock, even when your machine and the broker platform are closed.
Execution is server-side, not from your laptop. PickMyTrade processes your order in under 200ms on our side. Your total fill time also depends on your broker, prop firm, network conditions, and how quickly TradingView sends the alert, as with any automated system.
Yes. You can attach stop-loss and take-profit using five methods, points or dollar value, percentage, price levels, ticks, or total profit and loss, add a trailing stop, and size positions by fixed quantity or risk percentage. You can also set daily risk limits and use a stop button to halt trading. These tools help manage risk, but they do not guarantee a profit or prevent every loss.
PickMyTrade's own price is $50 per month or $500 per year, with a 5-day free trial that needs no credit card. Separately, your broker or prop firm may charge its own commissions, and trading live futures data from CME typically requires its own market-data subscription, priced by the exchange. Confirm current data and commission costs directly with your broker before going live.
Automating your own strategy on your own account is legal and supported by regulated futures brokers such as Tradovate. Prop firms set their own rules, which vary by firm and change over time; many treat routing your own alerts across accounts you own differently from external copy trading or letting someone else manage your account. Confirm your specific broker and prop-firm rules before going live.
Create a PickMyTrade account and connect your futures broker, set your risk settings such as stop-loss, take-profit, and position size, then generate the alert message and webhook URL in PickMyTrade. In TradingView, create an alert on your strategy or indicator, delete the default text, paste the PickMyTrade message, and add the webhook URL. Test it, confirm the fill in your alert log, then enable it. Webhook alerts require a paid TradingView plan.
